Small-scale farming

Me and Matilda are also small-scale farmers. We currently grow our own vegetables and we have bees. Matilda is definitely have most of the knowledge around animals and plants. Since she got allergic to bees I do most of the beekeeping these days. We also have chickens, ducks, one Icelandic horse and two cats.

We do it for self-sufficiency and to be more in tuned with the seasons and ourselves. We call our valley Månskensdalen and it means “Moonlight valley”. It’s a lot of work but it’s a good life.
